I love (1) learning languages – it’s my favourite hobby. I don’t like (2) going to language classes but I don’t mind (3) listening to CDs and watching DVDs. I hate (4) studying long lists of vocabulary. I prefer teaching myself languages. I’d rather (5) visit the country where the language is spoken than go to class. I enjoy (6) talking to people in shops and cafes, reading the paper and watching TV. I take a notebook with me and write down new words and phrases as I learn them. I like (7) to draw little pictures to remind me of the meaning. At the moment I’m teaching myself a bit of Chinese. It’s not easy but I love a challenge!
